You may remember some time ago we were invited to see ‘behind the scenes’ at The Portland Hospital. In association with Netmums, The Portland Hospital are taking part in its first online ‘Netmums Webchat’ next week.

Netmums members have the opportunity to post any questions they may have on children’s health and a team of leading paediatricians will post replies offering them complimentary advice and support. The following doctors have kindly agreed to participate Dr Ahmed Massoud, Dr Mignon McCulloch, Dr Elia Maalouf and Dr George Du Toit.

They will be popping into this thread on Netmums from Monday 6th – Friday 10th February to answer any questions you may have on your children’s health. So if you have any child-related healthcare concerns you are more than welcome to post your queries online.

All my photos of Little Sis have so far shown her asleep as, at 8 weeks old, that’s pretty much all she does.

My 3 best sleep tips are:

  • it’s never too early to establish a night time routine – a warm bath helps to soothe and relax before a story and a cuddle
  • be flexible – LS  couldn’t settle in her moses basket so we swapped it for a bednest
  • invest in some white noise CDs or lullabies to help your baby self settle

This is my entry in the childrens beds from Time 4 Sleep competition.
