Today we took some time out to revisit a lovely park in Wood Green. We hadn’t been back for months but today the sun shone (briefly) and we wanted some fresh air.
Big Brother had a great time and found some new friends. This is a lovely park and near the station so he was happy listening to the trains come and go. Simple pleasures!

Over the last few evenings when Big Brother has been in bed, we’ve been working on a secret project. A birthday card!
He turns 2 next month and as he’s a huge cBeebies fan, thought it would be fun to try and get a birthday card shown on cBeebies for him. He loves the bits where they read out cards, he always walks right up to the tv and points out his favourite characters on each card!
For his very special birthday card we’ve stuck a bit photograph of Big Brother along with the alphablocks, his favourite Chuggington trainees and some of the characters from In The Night Garden.
It’s already in the post so fingers crossed they show it!

We’ve been enjoying a couple of days on the Isle of Wight. Ryde seafront is full of amusement arcades – perfect old school entertainment on a wet and windy day. Big Brother wasn’t very impressed with the old-style games but mummy and daddy could have spent all their pocket money (if they had any)!
