Amazon World, Isle of Wight

Big Brother was promised a day out with cousin Willow and Auntie Caca so off they went to Amazon World (while mummy and daddy enjoyed some time in East Cowes with Little Sis).

Apparently they weren’t interested in the animals but loved the playground – oops!

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Today we had a very special invitation to join Alvin and the Chipmunks for a cruise along the river Thames!

Little Sis slept through everything but Big Brother had a great time running around the boat, playing games, getting a balloon sword, eating and running around Alvin and the Chipmunks. He also managed to watch some of the new film – Chipmunked!

He was generally over-excited due to the close proximity of London buses, planes, helicopters and the hustle and bustle of Zone 1. How glad we were to get back to the peace and quiet of Zone 3.

Giant Easter Egg in Central London!

We had one of our adventures into the West End. This time we took the Phil & Ted’s so BB and LS could travel in comfort. We went all the way from home to Green Park as there’s step-free access from the platform and met some friends for lunch in Soho.

We couldn’t miss this huge Easter egg in Green Park, part of the Big Egg Hunt we mentioned the other day.

Having the double buggy was a bit of a god send for mummy too who was able to look in a couple of shops (oh how I miss West End shops!). We popped into the Waterstones in Piccadilly which is housed in the old Simpson’s department store and apparently the inspiration for Are You Being Served. They have an amazing craft section where we picked up a little present for nanny!
